Ohio’s Electric Cooperatives serve more than 400,000 customers and covers nearly 40 percent of the land area in Ohio including portions of 77 of Ohio’s 88 counties. Our customers range in size and complexity from Fortune 500 industrial manufacturing plants with peak power loads of 40 megawatts to local family-owned businesses.

Service Territory

Our service territory is within 600 miles of 61 percent of all US and Canada’s manufacturing locations and home to multiple ports, airports, rivers, rail lines and interstate highways linking all North American and global markets. Ohio’s central location combined with 13 intermodal facilities served by Norfolk Southern and CSX make Buckeye Power’s service territory a top site location choice.
