The Orange County Economic Development Corporation was formed in 2003 to better serve the economic development needs of Orange County. The County of Orange, the Orange County Port and Navigation District and the Cities of Bridge City, Orange, Pinehurst, Vidor and West Orange realized the strengths gained by pooling resources to attract quality jobs and investments to Orange County.

Infrastructure

RAIL
Nearly 100 miles of track laces its way through the communities of Orange County. Served by three carriers, rail infrastructure provides the manufacturing base reliable access to inter-modal terminals and a national customer network.

ROADWAYS
Orange County is connected by five major highways with Interstate 10 cutting through the heart of the region with more than 50,000 daily travelers. In addition to Interstate and State Highways, Orange County offers a sophisticated network of Farm to Market and local thoroughfares.

PIPELINE LOGISTICS
Orange County has one of the best pipeline distribution networks in the country. Hundreds of miles of pipelines carry more than 30 raw and finished materials through Orange County to inter- and intrastate markets.

WATER LOGISTICS
Orange County is home to three ports: Port of Orange, Port of Beaumont, and Port of Port Arthur. From direct intermodal service to access to various rivers and waterways (including the Gulf of Mexico) provide distinct assets for various types of companies.
