site location partnershipPrescott Valley, AZ (November 18, 2011) – The Prescott Valley Economic Development Foundation has announced its contract renewal with Site Location Partnership (SLP), a Dallas-based corporate site selection and economic development consulting firm, in its efforts to recruit new businesses for investment and job creation in Prescott Valley, Arizona. SLP will continue to support the organization in building relationships with high-growth companies from targeted industries and site selection decision makers.

“We are very pleased to announce our contract renewal with Site Location Partnership,” said Gary Marks, executive director of the Prescott Valley Economic Development Foundation. “We have found SLP to be a cost effective and efficient partner in expanding our business recruitment efforts. With limited resources, it has been imperative to find new avenues to access corporate location projects across the country. SLP’s expertise has provided us several opportunities with great exposure to growing businesses and other site consulting firms. With SLP's assistance, we have developed a much more focused approach to our target industries.”

SLP’s Economic Development Practice will amplify Prescott Valley’s business attraction efforts through interactive marketing, meetings with corporate decision makers and site consultants, website promotion, trade show representation, site selector networking forums, and other dynamic strategies. Expanding and relocating companies from targeted growth segments such as solar energy, computer equipment and electronics, call centers, metal fabrication, and logistics will be pursued. Particular emphasis will be placed on the recruitment of solar manufacturers and service providers.

“We are proud of our long-standing relationship with Gary and the Prescott Valley Economic Development Foundation,” stated Justin Thompson, CEO of Site Location Partnership. “They have been very proactive in establishing solar power as a target industry. There is enormous potential for solar manufacturing in Prescott Valley due to its proximity to thriving solar markets in the Southwest, as well as Arizona’s aggressive tax incentives created specifically for solar companies. Solar energy is one of the fastest growing business sectors in the country and Prescott Valley is poised to become a key player in this emerging industry.”
