site location partnershipChicago, IL (July 22, 2010) – Site Location Partnership (SLP), a Dallas-based consulting firm specializing in corporate location strategy and economic development, announced that its promotion at Process Expo was effective in enhancing its market presence to the food manufacturing industry and developing relationships with businesses considering expansion or relocation. SLP was joined at the show by several clients from Georgia, Indiana, Nebraska, Ontario and Texas. While in Chicago, the firm also took part in an exclusive networking forum which focused on site selection strategy, corporate facility planning and business attraction.

Process Expo 2010, organized by the Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA), was co-located with the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) Annual Meeting and Food Expo at McCormick Place in Chicago. Together, the two premier food and beverage industry events drew over 30,000 attendees interested in equipment, ingredients, packaging, processing, product development, technology and the science of food.

“Our participation at Process Expo enhanced our knowledge of opportunities that exist in the agribusiness marketplace and allowed us to meet with potential clients looking to expand or relocate their business operations,” said Mark Darce, senior vice president of development at Site Location Partnership. “Our advisory services can play an instrumental role in a company’s site selection process to identify the optimal location for a new facility.”

At the networking forum, SLP executives joined site location consultants, industry leaders, corporate real estate professionals and economic development representatives. “This forum gave us the unique opportunity to build on existing relationships and forge new strategic partnerships,” said Justin Thompson, CEO of Site Location Partnership. “These types of working relationships are a cornerstone to our mutual strategy for business development and growth.”
