Northwest Ohio Regional Economic Development Association Retains Site Location Partnership to Accelerate Targeted Industry Business Attraction

site location partnershipSylvania, OH (April 13, 2011) – The Northwest Ohio Regional Economic Development Association (NORED) announced that it has contracted Site Location Partnership (SLP), a Dallas-based consulting firm specializing in corporate site selection and economic development, to help facilitate job creation and capital investment for the Northwest Ohio region. SLP’s Economic Development Practice will provide a variety of aggressive business recruitment services targeting expanding and relocating companies from high-growth industry segments.

NORED is a regional collaborative of economic development practitioners and partners spanning 12 counties throughout Northwest Ohio. “We are excited about the possibilities offered by Site Location Partnership,” said NORED President Kay Reiter. “There are a number of synergies between our organization and SLP. Their efforts, and ours, compliment one another, and we look forward to working together.”

SLP will represent NORED at site selection networking forums and national industry trade shows to promote Northwest Ohio’s business attributes and expand the regional group’s network of corporate investment decision makers. “We are thrilled to assist NORED with their economic development initiatives,” said Mark Darce, senior vice president of development at SLP. “Northwestern Ohio is committed to innovation, technology and leadership.
