The 200,000 square-foot facility will serve as a closed die forging operation providing components for the aerospace industry. Once fully operational, the facility will create at least 200 jobs.

"By opening its new operation in Georgia, Firth Rixson Limited creates strategic opportunities for the state to strengthen its leadership position in the aerospace sector," said Governor Sonny Perdue.
