While in Chicago, SLP also took part in an exclusive networking forum with others involved in location strategy, corporate real estate, and economic development.

The International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) brought together over 115,000 professionals from around the world. More than 2,000 exhibitors showcased new machines, tools, computer systems and software, and other ways to improve company efficiency for the manufacturing technology industry. The IMTS Conference provided information on the latest developments and industry trends within metal cutting, tooling & work-holding systems, metal fabrication, gear generation and machining components.

“We were able to effectively showcase our location advisory services to a worldwide audience of manufacturing technology industry leaders at IMTS,” said Justin Thompson, CEO of Site Location Partnership. “We drew substantial booth traffic which led to many meaningful conversations with businesses in expansion or relocation mode. We expect several quality job-creating economic development projects to arise from companies we met with at the show."

The networking event brought together a distinguished group of site selection, commercial real estate, and economic development executives. “This reception provided excellent opportunities to network with new business contacts while learning and sharing ideas amongst industry peers,” said Mark Darce, Senior Vice President of Development at Site Location Partnership. “We look forward to building upon the relationships we developed in Chicago."
