Economic Development
The Elkhorn Valley Economic Development Council is a collaborative public-private partnership formed to promote new economic development opportunities in the Antelope, Madison, Pierce and Stanton four-county region. Our four-county area is interdependent economically and is the nucleus of a regional microeconomy. Each of the member counties and communities has recognized that a continuous economic development effort is an important and integral part of our region’s ability to grow and prosper. By pooling resources, sharing talent and using the “Resource Team” approach we can reduce costs and have effective economic development programs for our region.
Our sixteen progressive member communities in the four-county region provide a variety of options for business and personal growth and lifestyles. Our member communities are:
• Battle Creek • Brunswick • Clearwater • Elgin • Foster •
• Hadar • Madison • McLean • Newman Grove •
• Osmond • Pierce • Pilger • Plainview • Stanton • Tilden •

The Elkhorn Valley Economic Development Council (EVEDC) is committed to assisting the local economic development efforts in member communities and counties, helping local entrepreneurs and existing businesses and attracting new business and industry to our four-county region.
